How to live your best life TODAY
You in your death bed, seeing your life as a flash, how would you want to feel? proud in the work you have done and your best life you could create or with regret of not giving enough and compromising?
You are obviously want to live life till' the end end make every second count.
In his book "Die Empty" [1] Todd henry talks about this, how to live every bit of life and create work and love that you will be proud of.
Henry tells us that the only way to live a full life is to give our 100% every single day
After all, day after day week after week, that is your life, your actions today are written in a book called "your life". And our mission is to make this book a great one.
In his book, Todd talks about one idea that captured my attention and I want to share it with you: the reporter
The little reporter
Imagine that from the moment you woke up today there is a little reporter following you, you can't see him or hear him but he is there, tracking every action you take today.
He writes down how much you've worked today, how did you talked to your mother, what did you ate, if you helped the old man cross the road. He write down every action you took today and at the end of the day the made a report about how good you've done toady, he takes the report and puts it into a folder, a folder with the past days, from when you was born until today. This folder is your life, how good they are, how good you are.
And this little reporter is going to show up every single day, from the moment you wake up until the moment you fall asleep, this reporter writing every action you do.
If this reporter was real you would probably wake up a little early, work extra hours, spend more time with you family and be better. If we want to improve ourselves and create the best life we can, we need to believe this reporter is real, we need to give our 100% every single day, because every day counts, every day is making a difference.
Give your little reporter a good show, go through today with 100% of everything, be the best you can today, not someday but today.
