Have you ever ordered something and it came in a box with the word “Fragile” on it? So you need to don’t shake it or it will break. Do you know what’s on the other side of the spectrum? If you said robust am sorry but you’re wrong. It’s anti-fragile, if fragile is damaged by shakes, robust is the same when shaken, so anti-fragile strengthens when shaken. Who insane is that? Instead of breaking in the smallest sign of vibration, it gains strength from it. 

How to become anti-fragile

We are, we are anti-fragile, but the problem is that in the modern world, we are used to everything being predictable and stable, the biggest stressor for you is if the bus is late, or your favorite type of coffee is unavailable. You see, in modern times we were stressed constantly, by predators, the need for food, darkness, weather, and tons of other things that put us under constant pressure, this caused us to evolve and improve, whenever stress arises we grow stronger from it like Nietzsche said: “what doesn’t kill you make you stronger”.



Embrace challenge

This is cool and all, but how we can implement it in our everyday lives? The answer is simple but difficult to do, just embrace the challenge. Walk instead of taking the bus, do things that are freaking you out, get out of your comfort zone, and live life how you should be living, embracing the stress and becoming stronger from it. By doing this you will take advantage of your anti-fragility and become stronger from every problem and challenge.
