Chaos and order: the root of existence
You might be familiar with the yin and yang symbol: a circle half white half black, with one dot of the different color in the middle of the half.
There is so much meaning to this symbol and I will break it down in this article.
First, the circle represents the whole living and existence, in it we meet our two main players: chaos and order.
Chaos is the unknown: the traffic today, your boss's reaction, the thing that is under your bed, everything you don’t know about or don’t have control of is chaos.
The order is the stability of society: Starbucks's long line, your phone code, the material taught in school, everything that is stable and unchanging is order.
As you probably know, nothing is always chaos or order, everything can change in seconds, and that’s the meaning of the dot on each side, to represent that order can grow from the most chaotic places and the other way around.
Now we have the thin line between both of them, the middle ground, where growth happens, to evolve and improve you need to put one foot in the chaos while staying stable and in order, this is where true meaning comes from, when you explore the unknown and bringing balance to the world.
This is where you should walk: in the line between chaos and order.
